Tree Removal — Somersby Falls & Daleys Point
Multi-site tree removal job covering two hazardous tree removals at Girakool with habitat timber retained, a dead tree removal at Somersby Falls, and pruning works at the Daleys Point cultural site. Crane hire brought in for the Girakool and Somersby Falls removals due to access and drop-zone constraints. Job planned and delivered under a site-specific SWMS, with cultural heritage considerations factored into the works at Daleys Point.

Tree Protection & Project Arborist Services — Kippax Lake, Moore Park East (Stage 3A)
Engaged as project arborist for a 6-week works program at Moore Park East, Greater Sydney Parklands. Scope covered tree protection zone (TPZ) establishment across the site to AS 4970, ensuring retained trees were fenced and protected ahead of works. Supervised all excavation within TPZs, including non-destructive digging to expose and protect root zones during the installation of a new garden bed. Provided arborist oversight throughout excavation, garden bed installation, and planting, ensuring root systems of retained trees were not compromised. Delivered as part of a broader landscape tender for Greater Sydney Parklands.

Hazardous Tree Removal — Panania
Removal of a tree near overhead powerlines, assessed as hazardous due to internal decay and cavities identified through inspection. Given the tree's structural condition and its position beside live powerlines, the removal was planned around both the electrical hazard and the risk of unpredictable failure during dismantling. Works carried out under a site-specific SWMS, with sectional removal used to manage the compromised limbs and trunk in a controlled sequence. Site cleared and made safe on completion.

Tree Health & Condition Assessment — Kangy Angy
Engaged by UGL to assess a single tree at Kangy Angy that had been struck by lightning. Carried out a full health and condition assessment to determine the extent of damage and the tree's ongoing viability, alongside a QTRA risk assessment to quantify the level of risk the tree posed given its condition and location. Findings and recommendations provided to UGL to support their decision-making on retention, management or removal.
- Full health and condition assessment after a lightning strike
- QTRA risk assessment quantifying risk in context
- Viability review for retention, management or removal
- Findings and recommendations reported to UGL
